About

Hudson Diamonds Fastpitch, founded in 2004, serves Hudson, OH and the surrounding communities.  We welcome players from 6 through 18 years of all ability levels.  Participants do not need to be a resident of Hudson.

Training session and games are held at the Hudson High School softball facilities (with a big THANK YOU!  to Hudson Schools for hosting us!)

Early Summer and Fall ball are our seasons, but thanks to the indoor facilities, we’re able to start training as early as January.

We host rec and competitive teams.  Tryouts for our competitive teams are held in late summer for the following year.

Registration for Rec teams opens in early February.  So register early!  Outdoor practices start after Spring break.

Registration for Fall ball opens in July shortly after the Spring season ends.

Leagues

There are two seasons, Spring League and Fall Ball.  Age eligibility follows USA Softball age guidelines (changed in 2023).  The cutoff date is Sept 1.  See the Age Chart for more information.   Players may “play up” based on ability, coaches’ recommendation, and need of the teams.
